    I think I might have an air tightness issue, what do you suggest I do?

    Steve, you could try jacking up the downside of the house untill it's level. Or alternatively dig out under the foundations of the opposite side, until it drops sufficiently. Remember a controlled descent is the key to success with that method.

    Then again there is always expanding foam.

    How about expanding foam at the *bottom* of the wall, contained at sides and ends so that all it can do is lift the wall?!
