    Anybody come across metal box trunking of this type:

    but more like 35 or 40mm?

    Hi Mike

    Galvanised trunking is used all the time on commercial installations, but the smallest size I am aware of is 2" / 50mm square.

    How about aluminium? 50x25 sizes are available, see http://m.screwfix.com/p/d-line-wall-mounted-trunking-aluminium-50-x-25mm-x-1-5m-pack-of-2/43611
