    Why oh why are swans neck bends (also called offsets) generally made up of two 112.5 degree bends.

    135's would work a whole lot better and wouldnt block so easily or often

    I have seen so many clugged up that others must have too -- is there any hope of a change.

    I suppose tony, it's so that with wide soffits, the second down facing offset doesn't end up halfway down the wall.Lindlab and other German suppliers of Galv rainwater systems often have a different approach to downpipe connection, in various angles and smooth transitions, plus bigger bores.
