    Was looking for a self cleaning leaf filter. Quite a few available but the Rainus from 3P looks interesting. Problem is they want £80-130 for it. Anyone found a good self cleaning filter for installing in gutter down pipes.

    Hi Colin
    I have fitted these (edit: link added below) and they work fairly well - water passing through the grid which ejects leaves and moss. They're polyethylene rather than galvanised mild steel like the rest of the range. If I recall these are around £12.00.

    Julian, it would sure be nice to know what 'these' are? Got 3 big pines towering over one side of my roof......

    those needles get everywhere, if I were you I'd cut 'em down. I had to.

    1/protected. 2/people seem to know of our place by the fact that there are the pines trees here - offending them is absolutly to be avioded (semi-rutral mid-Italy). 3/Anyway it's a small price to pay as we like them overall.
