    I will shortly be replacing a lead flat roof. Is it possible (or desirable?) to do this incorporating a warm roof design - say 100mm of Pavatherm under the lead?

    Yes, good idea but make sure that you join up the new insulation with the existing.

    Have you considered "Trisomet" by corus steel. Its the stuff that roofs your local B & Qs, its insulation foam with galvanised sheet steel either side with the outer surfaces plasticised in some pretty colour. It requires no boarding ,it just screws to the purloins.
