Planning a thin screed (5 to 10mm) over a block and beam floor as a leveller with a hint of flexibility for LX UFH (backup only) and an engineered timber finish.
Any makes jump out as best in anyone's experience?
So many to choose from ... Ronafix additive, Isothin, Arditex RS, Ecoscreed, Flexidry, Flowcryl, Sikafloor, Weber floor 4060 ........ 4:1 sand and cement with PVA ...... maybe they're all similar enough for it not to matter?
(Doing 30sqm, probably in three sections)
Bet there'll be more questions before answers!
    Thanks, Mike.

    No insulation?

To our beam and block flor we opted to fix 80mm battens with 80mm insulation between. Then the engineered floor was secret nailed and glued to the battens. The 80mm insulation was actually a layer of Celotex and a layer of this UFH system..

The block and beam is part of the mass for storing heat in the ground underneath.
(Interseasonal set up ... some details on here somewhere)
The insulation is outboard of the footings to a depth of about 2m.
The LX (dry) UFH is for quick response back up only

... any makes of screed recommended? ...
