I require (initially) a small amount of sawdust or logs of hardwood such as Alder, Birch, Hornbeams, Chestnut, Beech, Ash, Larch, Willow, Walnut, Elm. I am based in Dorset. Thanks for anyone that can help.

When you say a small amount...do you mean 25kgs - or a handful. Do you want sawdust or would sander dust (powder) do? I have from time to time elm, ash and maple - in W Dorset.

Thanks for the replies and help. Around 25kg would probably be good, would that be a few bags worth? Initially I only really need a small amount (say a bucket full) but in the future I will probably require more. It would need to be sawdust I'm afraid. Elm Ash and Maple would all be good, thanks :)

I'll have a look at that link now too, thanks.

If you can collect from near Shepton Mallet, you'd be welcome.

My sawdust is alder, ash, and hazel in the main.
  2.
    What for...?
