I am fitting Celotex boards under rafters and need cups for holding boards in place, where screws just sink in.
At Ejot I can only buy a box of 100, but could just do with 30-40 pieces. Has anyone got that amount spare or knows of another outlet, which will sell this quantity?

Try large plastic washers on ebay?
  2.
Or just buy mudguard/penny washers from your local hardware/engineers/nuts&bolts shop?

Try Wiko, they have a £2 bag and you can fill it with as many penny washers as you can fit into it.

I need exactly the same how much are they?

PHStore.co.uk have 2 similar products that are around £20 for 100 or 200 of the other product, but then delivery is £17 so over £40 which I baulked at.

I don't know how many I need but I could split a pack.

thanks guys for your tips. I'll have a look at the various options and might leave the PHStore offer with costly postage aside, sorry Andrew H.

CC what's the price of the Ejot option? Thats what I was considering splitting.

Try cutting strips of 6-9mm ply and screwing through these

If you've room use 16/50 or 25/50 batton under insulation inline with rafters it creates a good fixing for plasterboard and service void on the warm side of the vapour/airtightness barrier
