So, stil working on the possibilities of my garden office build, every page turned another bit of inspiration.

Just been looking at some structures with dome roofs. Anyone ever tried one of these, looking to use hemcrete.....

Some kind of former i suppose...but worried about structural integrity once thats been removed? What degree of curve is possible and what thickness does it need to be or even not be?

Big inflatable former like a kiddies blow-up castle and then spray concrete over it. I think there's a French chap who specialized/popularised the technique.

How big, what type of dome? Either way it would need more than hemp and lime to keep it up.. gridshell, or laminated strips, or clay tiles cross laminated, or woven structure from willow or hazel, then hempcrete or vermicrete cover?
How far out will it be, and can we assume no building regs?
